Rebecca is an Analyst with The Bloor Group, having joined the company in that role in early 2011 specifically to assist in producing White Papers and to manage and produce web site content on all The Bloor Group web sites. She is a blogger on The Virtual Circle, where she writes about technology trends and technology companies. She is a talented writer having cut her teeth writing and editing for an Eco magazine in Chicago. She later worked with Eric Kavanagh (CEO of The Bloor Group) at Mobius Media in New Orleans, writing, editing, desktop publishing and planning the editorial calendar.

For a time she pursued a career in the education arena, not just teaching, but working in Human Capital Management, advising on classroom management strategies and teaching strategies. She was also responsible for carrying out data analysis and handling local IT operations. As a consequence, she has a practical knowledge of BI, particularly in the area of analytics.

When not immersed in work, she sings lead and plays keys/guitar in a local band.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in English, from the University of Montana, Missoula, MT.
